To add link to PDF (for example), upload a pdf to the correct folder, select the text you wish to use to link to the file, select the 'link' icon' in the editor above, 'browse', select the 'file' option, then navigate to the folder, then select the file name you want to link to.

Click on the 'use selected link', then open the advanced tab, and select 'open in new browser window'.. save that.. scroll the page down, save and exit to view.,
